Sanaa Khan is a seasoned model, who has about 30 commercials to her credit, has also scorched the screen with Akshay Kumar in the X-Box 360 ad and shared screen space with King Khan for a fairness cream commercial. Sanaa, who has been flooded with offers from Bollywood, is known as Chotti Madhuri, because she bears a striking resemblance to the Bollywood diva.
Sanaa Khan has her roots in Kerala as her father is a Malayali-Muslim from Kannur while her mother Saeeda who she is extremely close to is from Mumbai. Says Sanaa, “I come from a conservative background with absolutely no filmi connections. But my mother stood by me when I started my modelling career and continues to support me even after I joined the film industry.” Sanaa is waiting for the release of Silambattam, before she takes on any new projects. “I have been getting offers, but I want to be clear about my role and how I will be portrayed on screen. I’m open to doing Tamil and Telugu films, as I’m getting offers from Tollywood too,” concludes the debutante actress.
