Charmy Kaur popularly known as Charmy or Charmi was born on May 17, 1988. Charmy is an upcoming Tollywood actress. Charmy was only 13 years old when she acted in her first film, Nee Thodu Kaavali in 2002. This film did not do well, however helped Charmy get noticed by the south Indian film industry. Her next film was Kadal Azhavatillai (Tamil) which was a hit. After that she was heorine in a couple more Tamil films but they bombed at the box office. Her re-entry to Telugu movies happened with Sri Anjaneyam, directed by ace director Krishna Vamsi, in which Chamry was heroine. This too was a failed attempt. It was followed by another failure with Chanti, paired against Ravi Teja. Charmi finally got a big break in Telugu with Gowri in which she she was the heroine paired with Sumanth. She didn’t have to look back afterwards.Charmy was spoted by model coordinator and she was 13. Charmy was not so keen in the begining, however charmy attended a film shooting as per his advise. There Charmy got to see Abhishek Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor working for a film. Luck was with Charmy and Somebody spotted her over there and offered role in ‘Nee Thodu Kaavali’ in Telugu. Charmy acted the role of a housewife at the age of 13 in that film.
Sri Anjaneyam is a movie about Lord Hanuman done by Charmi. Charmy become a great devotee of Lord Hanuman after the movie. Charmy is fasting on Tuesday’s for Hanuman.
